Lookup using problems : Only constructors and initializers without parameters are supported in LINQ to Entities

Hi, I have the latest release(3.5) of Awesome MVC (for 4.0) and trying to use lookups in vain. My controller is public class UsagerLookupController : Controller { // GET: /UsagerLookup/ private User_CommunEntities db = new User_CommunEntities(); // using Entity framwork context public ActionResult GetItem(Guid? v) { var usager = db.Usagers.SingleOrDefault(f => f.IdUsager == v) ?? new Usager(); return Json(new KeyContent(usager.IdUsager, usager.NomRaisonSociale)); } public ActionResult Search(string search, int page) { search = (search ?? "").ToLower().Trim(); var list = db.Usagers.Where(f => f.NomRaisonSociale.ToLower().Contains(search)).OrderBy(f=>f.NomRaisonSociale); return Json(new AjaxListResult { Items = list.Skip((page - 1) * 7).Take(7).Select(o => new KeyContent(o.IdUsager, o.NomRaisonSociale)), More = list.Count() > page * 7 }); } } and in my view, I have @Html.Awe().Lookup("Usager"). But I can't show and select any items when I click on my lookup because of this error: _POST http://localhost:12345/UsagerLookup/Search 500 Internal Server Error 1,95s Server Error in '/' Application. Only constructors and initializers without parameters are supported in LINQ to Entities I need your help please!

  you get an error from EntityFramework because when you do .Select it tries to transform it into a DB query you need to call ToList or ToArray (to run the db query) before mapping the result of the query to KeyContent[] like this: Items = list.Skip((page - 1) * 7).Take(7).ToList().Select(o => new KeyContent(o.IdUsager, o.NomRaisonSociale))
